The latest round of Beyonce baby rumors started weeks ago, and despite a denial from her music mogul husband, Jay-Z, the buzz continues. But is it time to finally put the baby talk to rest?
TODAY's Savanah Guthrie sat down with the superstar singer for an exclusive chat and gave her an opportunity to dispel the rumors that she's expecting.
"What kind of rumor? Huh?" Beyonce shot back with a big smile. "I don't know what you're talking about!"
While her answer maintained the mystery -- or rather renewed it after Jay-Z's earlier response -- that doesn't mean her daughter, Blue Ivy, should get her hopes up for a sibling.
"When I saw her, she was wearing this sheath dress and I thought, 'Hmm, maybe,'" Savannah reflected on TODAY Monday morning. "Then I saw her on stage, and she was wearing a leather body suit. So unless she's like 30 seconds pregnant, I don't know."
But baby talk wasn't the only thing Beyonce addressed during the chat. She also spoke about an event she's passionate about: The Women's Concert for Change, which took place in London on Sunday and raised funds for women's charities around the world.
"It's just unbelievable to me that there are places in the world where there is no justice, where we're not treated equally, where we can't use our voice," Beyonce said of her inspiration for the concert. "So the fact that I can use my voice, I'm definitely proud."
