Iron Man 3 flew past two new releases at the Spanish box office last weekend. The superhero film grossed $4.9 million, easily retaining the top spot at the box office. The new releases beat Robert Downey Jr.'s iron-suited alter ego, however, at least where per-screen average is concerned. Scary Movie 5 posted a $3,484 average across 245 screens, while The Big Wedding averaged $2,610 in 305 locations. The spring weather seems to have put a lasting damp on the Spanish box office, with all hold-overs behind Tom Cruise's Oblivion, in fourth place with a $7.2 million cume, posting per-screen averages below the $1,000 mark.?
