Pennsylvania's Top 50 football recruits: No. 45 Exeter QB Kyle Yocum

Make no mistake, the Delaware recruit has a big-time arm. Yocum can make every deep throw in the book. His accuracy has always been an issue for the three-year starter. ? Generally regarded as a pro-style quarterback, Yocum plays more like a dual threat.

His speed and power when he tucks the ball is above average for a guy his size. Yocum is elusive in the open field. ? Threw for more than 1,000 yards as a sophomore and junior. Also had a combined 1,000 rushing yards those two seasons. As a senior fell just short of 1,000 passing yards but added 737 yards on the ground and had 21 total touchdowns. ? Mobility and arm strength are assets at the next level, but making the simple throws look simple is the next step for success at the next level. Yocum has shown he can make those throws, but consistency is the key.
